It's hard to get to know people (and be known by others) by attending one service for about an hour each week. It is also hard to gain a balanced diet of spiritual nutrition in that short, limited amount of time. This is why we offer other opportunities for you to be involved, and to get to know other people. Browse our connection opportunities below to see where you might fit.
We call our classes “Bible Communities” because we believe true gospel growth is not just about acquiring more knowledge, but about that growing knowledge affecting us in all areas of our lives. We want to learn and grow in the context of smaller communities because it is in those smaller community contexts that we have the opportunity to live out and apply the things we learn. We offer these classes as ways to supplement growth and discipleship, and they are offered at varying times throughout the week.
We were designed by God to know other people and to be known deeper than just the small talk and pleasantries that take place on a Sunday morning. While Heaston Church can't create significant relationships for you, we can provide opportunities for those relationships to be created and for them to flourish.
Sixth through 12th graders are part of the Heaston Youth. The Youth meet on Wednesday nights throughout the school year, and on Sunday mornings starting at 9:30 am. Throughout the year other activities take place as well. This is a place where we partner with you, the parents, to point your youth toward the Lord. We come alongside you to model and mold your youth into the men and women God has designed them to be.
Newborns to 5th graders are part of Heaston Kids. We have a nursery for newborns to pre-k and classes for kindergarten through fifth grade on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings (during the school year). Heaston Kids is where we partner with you, the parents, to point your kids toward the Lord. We come alongside you to model and mold your kids as they grow.
